5 Brain-to-Brain Communication terms

Electrical stimulation
Electrical stimulation (e-stim) is the use of a device to send gentle electrical pulses through the skin. Two common devices are: Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to help repair muscles Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) to help with pain
Example: The electrical stimulation from the brain’s cortex region is then recorded and transmitted wirelessly through the cloud.

Exciter circuit
Exciter or DC generator relay is a device which forces the DC machine-held excitation to build up during starting or which functions when the machine voltage has built up to a given value.
Example: The exciter circuit (TMS) will generate the signal corresponding to the command passed.

Exoskeletons
Electroencephalography can be defined as the measurement of the electric brain activity caused by of the currents induced by neurons within the brain.
Example: The significant advantage of this technology is that it is noninvasive and does not have the complications of using bulky devices like exoskeletons and comes with less cost.

Magnetic stimulation
Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a noninvasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression. TMS is typically used when other depression treatments haven't been effective.
Example: This electrical signal produces equivalent magnetic stimulation in the form of TMS and the receiver interprets the information based on the flashes he/she sees.
